Jasmine Burditt is an experienced professional with a diverse range of work experience. In 2011, they worked as an Advocate at The National Dating Abuse Helpline for the Texas Council on Family Violence. From 2014 to 2015, they served as a Graduate Assistant for the Herbert Presidential Scholars program at Indiana University Graduate School, conducting research on intra-college choice sets and location preference for graduates. In 2015, they joined the Office of Education Innovation, first as a Data Operations Manager, responsible for managing office projects and data analysis, then as a Strategy and Engagement Manager, where they worked on a poverty initiative to address key issues faced by K-12 students living in poverty. In 2018, they transitioned to the role of Assistant Director, Governance, where they developed a revised Governance Accountability Framework for Mayor-sponsored charter schools. Jasmine also served as an Adjunct Faculty at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis starting in 2019. Currently, Jasmine is with RISE INDY, where they hold the positions of Chief of Staff and VP of Policy, and Director of Strategic Partnerships.
Jasmine Burditt completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Sciences from The University of Texas at Austin in the years 2007 to 2012. Jasmine further pursued their education and obtained a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from Indiana University Bloomington between 2013 and 2015. Jasmine'sareas of specialization during their Master's program were Nonprofit Management, Policy Analysis, and International Development.
