Jeff Kahn

Jeff Kahn is the co-founder and CEO of Rise Science, a startup that makes it easy to improve your sleep and daily energy to reach your potential. Jeff is also an official member of the Forbes Technology Council.

Kahn has always been interested in technology and how it can help people. After studying computer science at the University of California, Berkeley, they started their career as a QA engineer at Cisco. Jeff then moved on to Apple, where they worked as a specialist, before eventually starting their own company.

Rise Science is built around the two principles that sleep researchers agree unlock better days: sleep debt and circadian rhythm. After years of working with professional athletes, startups, and Fortune 500s, the company launched its consumer app to empower everyone with a smartphone to awaken to their best selves.

Jeff Kahn attended Northwestern University for both their undergraduate and graduate studies. Jeff received their Bachelor of Science in Health Systems Engineering in 2010 and their Master of Science in Engineering Design & Innovation in 2014.
