Tarrah Cooper Wright

Tarrah Cooper Wright is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Rise Strategy Group, a position held since November 2016. Prior experience includes serving on the Board of Directors for the Illinois Lottery Control Board from August 2019 to 2021 and Outcome Health from June 2018 to May 2019. Prior roles include Managing Director at Mercury, Press Secretary for Mayor Rahm Emanuel in the City of Chicago, and Deputy Press Secretary for Chicago For Rahm Emanuel. Tarrah also worked as a Special Assistant to the Secretary at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and served as a Press Assistant and Field Organizer for Obama for America. Tarrah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia and furthered education through Executive Education at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
