Celestina Hendrickson, CTA, currently serves as the Event Services Manager at Visit Bellevue since January 2024 and has been the University Outreach and Student Engagement Manager at RISE Travel Institute since March 2021. Previous roles include Events and Operations Manager and Administration Coordinator at Kirkland Downtown Association, and Board Member at REAL Tourism Development. Celestina also contributed as Seattle Chapter Co-Lead for Impact Travel Alliance, focusing on communications and outreach. Other experiences include participation in the Advancing The Sustainable Development Goals' Working Group at The Forum on Education Abroad, curating the Ambassador Program for Green Destinations, and interning at Kind Traveler. Celestina started a career in guest services with Holland America Line before returning to academia, earning a Master's in Tourism and Travel Services Management from Colorado State University following a Bachelor's from Washington State University.
