Jeff Boyd

Jeff Boyd serves as the Vice Principal, Academic Dean, and Co-Founder of Rise University Preparatory, an independent Christian middle and high school established in June 2017, aimed at providing rigorous education to the Bayview/Hunters Point community, with a goal for all scholars to gain admission to four-year universities. Prior to this role, Jeff Boyd amassed over two decades of experience at Alma Heights Christian High School, where responsibilities included Literature and Language Teacher, Academic Dean, English Department Chair, and overseeing IT infrastructure as the Systems and Network Administrator. Additional experience includes a brief tenure as a PCI DSS Contractor at Dayspring Technologies, Inc. Jeff Boyd holds multiple degrees, including an M.A. in Educational Leadership and Administration from San Francisco State University and a B.A. in Biblical Literature and Linguistics from Simpson University.
