Zach Haptonstall

CEO & Co-founder at Rise48 Equity

Zach Haptonstall, MBA, has a varied and successful work experience. Zach is currently the CEO & Co-Founder of Rise48 Equity, where they have completed over $2 billion in transactions and purchased 47 assets. Zach is responsible for managing $1.6 billion+ in assets under management in the Phoenix and Dallas markets.

In addition to their role at Rise48 Equity, Zach is also the CEO & Co-Founder of Rise48 Communities, a vertically-integrated property management company. Zach oversees all construction management, property management, and asset management in-house with their team.

Prior to their work with Rise48, Zach was the President & Co-Owner of Family Comfort Hospice & Palliative Care, where they significantly grew the organization, reaching 110+ employees and generating over $9 million in annual revenue.

Zach also has experience in the real estate industry, serving as the President & Founder of ZH Multifamily, a value-add multifamily properties company with $35 million in assets under management. Zach successfully sold all properties and transitioned to co-founding Rise48 Equity.

Before their ventures in real estate and hospice care, Zach worked in the healthcare industry as the Co-Owner of Sage Hospice and Palliative Care. Zach played a crucial role in preparing the company for acquisition and led pitch presentation meetings with private equity firms. Zach also served as the Director of Business Development & Patient Relations, growing the organization to become the largest for-profit hospice organization in Arizona.

Earlier in their career, Zach worked as a Business Development Representative in the healthcare field, establishing partnerships with hospitals, doctors' offices, and skilled nursing facilities. Zach also gained experience in journalism and media as a Lead Television News Anchor and Sports Reporter for Arizona PBS and as a TV Host/Producer for SportsWatch 101 on FSNAZ.

Zach began their professional journey as a College Football Player at Phoenix College on a full scholarship.

Zach Haptonstall has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Grand Canyon University, which they obtained from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Journalism and Mass Communication with a concentration in Broadcasting from Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, graduating summa cum laude in 2013. Zach also holds an Arizona Real Estate License obtained in 2016 from the Arizona Academy of Real Estate. Zach completed an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree at Scottsdale Community College from 2010 to 2011. Zach briefly studied Broadcast Journalism at Colorado Mesa University in 2009. Zach completed their high school education at North Canyon High School in Phoenix, Arizona. In addition to their academic achievements, they have earned certifications as a Best Selling Co-Author through Amazon and in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
