Cara McLean

Cara McLean is a Marketing Coordinator at Rise8, beginning in August 2022, where responsibilities include developing and executing marketing campaigns and managing social media communication. Previously, Cara served as a Brand & Marketing Intern at Rise8 and held various leadership positions within the Colorado National Guard from June 2012 to March 2022, including Senior Manager of Medical Plans and Operations, Senior Manager of Education and Training, and Manager of Human Resources Operations. Cara's military experience includes roles such as Team Leader for Critical Infrastructure Protection and Frontline Leader in the U.S. Army, where operational responsibilities included deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Cara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Political Science from the University of Colorado Boulder, a Master of Public Policy from the University of Denver, and a Graduate Certificate in Homeland Defense and Security from the University of Denver, along with training from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College and the U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence.
