Shelby Sansone Stephens

Shelby Sansone Stephens began their work experience as a Television News Reporter and later became a Producer at NewsWatch 99 from August 2013 to May 2015. During this time, they shot and edited stories for live broadcasts, appeared in live-shots and interviews, and wrote and read stories as an anchor. Shelby then worked as a Reporting Intern at WTVA from July 2015 to August 2015, where they shadowed reporters and producers and gained experience in shooting, editing, writing, and standup shots.

Afterward, they worked as an Ole Miss Communications Employee at the University of Mississippi from August 2015 to May 2016. Shelby'sresponsibilities included shooting and editing videos for university events and scholarships, appearing in commercials and social media videos, and writing for the university's website and social media platforms.

Stephens then joined WTVA again as a Multimedia Journalist from February 2016 to May 2016. Shelby later worked as a Morning Reporter and Multimedia Journalist at FOX13 Memphis (WHBQ-TV) from May 2016 to June 2019, covering various news stories.

Shelby furthered their career at WSMV, where they served as a News Reporter from July 2019 to September 2020. Most recently, they have taken on the role of a Freelance Writer and Content Creator since January 2021, working on various projects independently. Currently, they work as a Content Writer at Improving starting from July 2021.

Shelby Sansone Stephens attended the University of Mississippi from 2013 to 2016. Shelby pursued a field of study in Broadcast Journalism, but it is unclear whether they completed a degree during this time.
