Becca Symes

Becca Symes currently serves as the Director of Strategic Operations at RiseBoro Community Partnership, focusing on enhancing impact through organizational strategy development and operational standardization. Previously, Becca held the role of Executive Director at The Waterfront Project, Inc., steering the nonprofit through significant growth while managing financials, fundraising, and community relations. At Dixon Advisory USA, Becca established the legal department and led cross-functional initiatives. Additionally, Becca worked as Counsel & Director of Constituent Affairs for Senator Kirsten E. Gillibrand, overseeing intergovernmental services and casework. Early in Becca's career, as a Housing Attorney at Housing Conservation Coordinators, significant efforts were made to protect low-income tenants through litigation and organizing. Becca's experience also includes a fellowship at the Human Rights Campaign.
