Jean-Paul Iraguha has a diverse work experience, starting with a research internship at the Belgian Institute for Space Aeronomy in 2012. Jean-Paul then worked as a software engineer and IT consultant at Sopra Banking Software, where they developed microservices, collaborated on a multi-service secured platform, and led API integration for a new internet banking application. Jean-Paul also played a key role in the migration of a legacy system to Thaler v2. In 2019, they joined Rise as the Chief Technology Officer, responsible for building and leading a high-performing engineering team while overseeing DevOps, backend, and mobile development. Jean-Paul also led the development of a financial education app for teens. In 2021, Jean-Paul became a community leader at the Brussels Koltin User Group. Their expertise lies in areas such as technical leadership, software development, infrastructure design, API development, and project management.

Jean-Paul Iraguha attended the Université libre de Bruxelles where they pursued their education in the field of Engineering Physics/Applied Physics. Jean-Paul completed their Bachelor's degree from 2007 to 2012. Jean-Paul continued their studies at the same university and obtained a Master's degree in the same field from 2012 to 2014. Later, they further pursued their education and completed another Master's degree, this time in Physics, from 2014 to 2015 at the Université libre de Bruxelles.
