Yuval Samet

Yuval Samet has a diverse work experience spanning different positions and industries. Yuval is currently the CEO at Riseup since June 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Crew Member at Jibe Ventures starting in January 2021.

From 2011 to 2015, Yuval held multiple roles at Klarna, including Chief Information Officer, Chief Product Officer, and Head of Product. In their role as Chief Information Officer, they led Klarna's Engineering team and played a crucial role in the company's global growth. Yuval focused on building simple products in a complex marketplace, making real-time credit decisions based on limited data, and ensuring high availability in a microservice architecture. Yuval emphasized hiring quality-driven engineers and providing them with growth opportunities and a platform to voice their ideas.

Before Klarna, Yuval worked as the VP of Business Development at Analyzd from September 2010 to May 2011. Yuval also held various roles at Logia Group, including General Manager in APAC, Thailand and Vietnam CM & Head of Marketing in Emerging Markets, Chief of Staff, and Project Manager, between 2007 and 2010.

Prior to Logia Group, Yuval worked as a Professional Services Engineer at Comverse from November 2005 to November 2007. Yuval started their career at IDF - Mamram, working in Operations from 2000 to 2005.
