Jade Hoogs is currently a student at Wesleyan University pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government, slated to graduate in June 2027. Jade serves as a Socioeconomic Status and Disability Intern at Wesleyan University and as an L4E Masterclass and PEARR Coach for Rising Communities. Previously, Jade held the position of Program Leader with the City of Torrance, engaging with elementary-aged youth in after-school programs while also contributing to various city events. Jade gained political experience as a Legislative Intern for the City of Long Beach, where responsibilities included assisting with legislative duties and community engagement. Jade participated in the Running Start program, focusing on political leadership and campaign simulation, and took part in Active Minds, Inc.'s advocacy program, gaining insights into mental health advocacy. Jade is a graduate of the California Academy of Mathematics and Science, earning a High School Diploma in June 2023.
