Michelle Burton, PhD, currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Rising Communities and has held the position of Director at the Social Change Institute since June 2018. With extensive experience in leadership roles, Michelle previously worked as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Rising Communities and as Chief Strategy Officer at Community Health Councils. Michelle's expertise spans transformational change, organizational development, and social equity, underscored by a strong educational foundation that includes a PhD in Leadership and Change Studies from Antioch University. Additional qualifications include an MBA in Organizational Leadership from Brandman University and a Master's degree in Leadership & Change Studies from Antioch University.
