Karen Myrie

Karen Myrie is the Director at Rising Ground, a position they have held since 2019. Prior to that, they were the Medical Director at Acacia Network from October 2017 to May 2019. From January 2017 to May 2017, they were the Attending Pediatrician at Children's Aid Society. From August 2010 to December 2016, they were the Director of Health Services at SACFS. And from August 2006 to October 2009, they were the Director of School Health at Lutheran Medical Center.

Karen Myrie has an MD from SUNY-Downstate College of Medicine, an MPH in Health Promotion & Disease Prevention from Columbia University School of Public Health, and an eCornell Certificate in the Program for Executive Women in Leadership from Cornell University. Karen also has a BA in French Language / Pre-med from New York University and a Regents HS Diploma from Bronx HS of Science. Finally, they are certified by the NYC Department of Small Business Services as an M/WBE Certified Vendor.
