Julia Hatton serves as the President & Chief Executive Officer of the Rising Sun Center for Opportunity since October 2012, leading initiatives focused on climate and economic equity. Previous roles at Rising Sun include Interim Co-Executive, Director of Strategy Development and Policy, Director of Programs, and Director of Youth Programs, where Julia contributed to organizational growth and youth employment strategies. Prior to Rising Sun, Julia founded Hatton Consulting, providing strategic and project management services for nonprofits. Julia's experience includes significant project management roles at AVANGRID, Thrive, Coro Leadership Center, and Epic Systems Corporation, with a strong emphasis on partnerships, policy development, and program implementation. Julia holds a B.A. in English from Northwestern University.
