Richard Meade

Richard Meade is an experienced lighting professional with a strong background in visual effects and 3D animation. Currently serving as Lighting Lead at Rising Sun Pictures since September 2022, Richard has previously held the role of Senior Lighting Artist at Animal Logic from September 2021 to September 2022, and worked as a Lighting Artist at Plastic Wax from July 2020 to September 2021. Richard's extensive experience also includes significant positions at Binyan Studios 3D Visualisation from September 2014 to September 2021, where roles ranged from Senior 3D Artist to Associate Creative Director. Prior to Binyan Studios, Richard served as a Visualiser at Miller Hare Limited from March 2012 to September 2014 and worked as a Sales Engineer at Shaderlight and ArtVPS Ltd from August 2010 to March 2012. Richard holds an MA in 3D Animation from the University of Hertfordshire and a BSc in Games Computing from the University of Lincoln.
