Claudia L. Lopes

Claudia L. Lopes is an accomplished finance and operations executive with extensive experience in the banking sector. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Finance & Operations at Risk Leadership Academy and as a Member of GVAngels since March 2023, Claudia has previously held the position of Managing Director - Americas Head for Corporate Banking Operations at Crédit Agricole CIB. From December 2004 to November 2019, Claudia worked at Itau Unibanco S.A., New York Branch, progressing from Vice President - Head of Operations & IT to General Manager and Head of Operations Oversight. Earlier roles include Finance Manager at Itaú Unibanco and Financial Analyst at ING Barings. Claudia holds multiple MBAs, including a TRIUM Global Executive MBA attained from institutions such as HEC Paris, NYU Stern, and LSE, alongside a finance MBA from Ibmec. Additionally, educational background includes a degree from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas.
