Alec Thomson

Alec Thomson has been working in the field of business since 1995. Alec began their career as a Field Engineer for Tidewater Construction in 1995. Alec then moved on to Sunbelt Rentals as a Salesperson in 1996. From 2002 to 2005, they worked for Womble Generators as a Salesperson, developing new territories for industrial and commercial accounts. From 2005 to 2006, they were an Account Manager for Dougherty Equipment Company, re-developing local dealer territories. In 2006, Alec began working for Skanska as a Manager of Strategy and Business Performance, assisting in developing and communicating corporate strategy. Alec then became the Contracts Department Manager, responsible for execution of multimillion dollar Subcontracts and Purchase Orders. Alec was promoted to Director of Purchasing, implementing and managing central purchasing for the Regional Office. From 2018 to present, they have been a Selected Candidate for VentureCrushFG (formerly First Growth Venture Network), a program for high potential, seed and early stage start-up tech entrepreneurs. In 2017, Alec became the CEO of Riskcast Solutions.

Alec Thomson attended Lehigh University from 1990 to 1995, where they received a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Alec also holds a Certified Scrum Master certification.
