Amit Gordon

Amit Gordon is a Data Scientist currently employed at Riskified since April 2023, previously serving in a similar role at Pagaya from August 2021 to March 2023. At Pagaya, Amit worked with industry-standard Python libraries for data preparation and visualization, developed machine learning models, conducted statistical tests, and utilized SQL for big data processing. Additionally, Amit gained experience in machine learning algorithms for loan classification, return prediction, and A/B testing. Prior research experience includes a position as an MSc Researcher in Dr. Zohar Ringel's Group at The Racach Institute of Physics, Hebrew University, from March 2018 to March 2021, and as a Student Researcher in Prof. Chaim Garfinkel's Group at the Institute of Earth Sciences, Hebrew University, from October 2017 to October 2018. Amit holds a Master’s degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Physics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
