Zachary Henderson has a diverse work experience, starting in 2017 with an internship at Historic Environment Scotland where they gained experience in outreach and exhibitions. Following that, they worked as an editorial assistant for the Jane Addams Papers Project. In 2018, they held several positions simultaneously, working as a visitor assistant at Grounds For Sculpture, an archival consultant at Sterling Forest Archives, and an archives intern for the Palisades Interstate Park Commission. Their role as an archives intern involved creating an archive and setting up a process for future volunteers. They also digitized documents and created an online database. In 2019, they became a quality assurance technician for STORIS, Inc., where their responsibilities included testing the company's retail software and working with developers to ensure user-friendliness. Currently, Zachary is a software quality assurance specialist at RiskLimiter by Gleason Technology, starting in 2021.

Zachary Henderson pursued their education from 2015 to 2019 at Ramapo College of New Jersey. During this period, they worked towards obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in History.
