Simon Cullen, FRM

Simon Cullen, FRM has worked in the financial services industry since 2004. In that time, they have held a variety of roles. From 2004 to 2009, they worked at Hypo Real Estate Bank International as a Portfolio Manager and Risk Analyst. In 2009, they moved to Deutsche Pfandbriefbank AG, where they served as Head of Structured Products Europe until 2011. From 2011 to 2017, they worked at FMS Wertmanagement as a Senior Portfolio Manager. Since 2017, they have been the Founder and Managing Director of RiskSave Technologies, where they are responsible for head of compliance, regulatory and business structuring, and advising on legal structure, financial modelling and business process design.

Simon Cullen, FRM has an extensive education history. Simon attended Belvedere College Dublin from 1992 to 1998. Simon then went on to Trinity College Dublin, where they obtained a BA (Mod) in Mathematics from 1998 to 2002 and an MLitt in Economics from 2002 to 2004. In 2017, they obtained the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP). In 2018, they obtained the CISI Diploma in Investment Compliance from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI). Simon is also currently working towards obtaining the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) from the CFA Institute.
