Ruud V.

Ruud V. is an experienced information security professional currently serving as the Director of Information Security at Rituals (B Corp™) since May 2021, where responsibilities include designing and managing the security framework across the organization's architecture. Prior to this role, Ruud V. worked at KPMG Nederland from September 2013 to April 2021, advancing from Senior Consultant to Manager in cyber security strategy and assurance, specializing in translating technical security issues into business risks. Ruud V. also founded Verbij Consulting, providing consultancy services for Higher Education in the Netherlands and Flanders. Educationally, Ruud V. holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Twente and completed VWO at Ashram College. Additional involvement includes participating in various accreditation panels for higher education institutions and serving as a Board Member for Inter-Actief, a study association at the University of Twente.
