Jan Bjerre Lauridsen has extensive experience in journalism, beginning with a degree from Danmarks Journalisthøjskole (1996-2000). Lauridsen's career includes a current position as a journalist at Ritzaus Bureau since December 2015, focusing on court reporting and contributing to news coverage in areas such as local government, politics, environment, and crime. Prior to this role, Lauridsen worked at Berlingske Nyhedsbureau (November 2012 - November 2015) as part of a trio addressing news in Jutland, and was the editorial leader for Aarhus Stiftstidende's Favrskov section (May 2006 - October 2012). Earlier experience includes positions as an information officer at Danish Crown (January 2001 - April 2006) and the Ministry of Food, Agriculture, and Fisheries (January 2000 - December 2000).
