Alen Komic

Alen Komic has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Alen began their career as a System and Software Engineer at Vast in 2000. Alen later worked as a System Engineer at Telecommunications Company Verat Ltd. from 2001 to 2004. In 2004, they joined EFG Eurobank as a System Engineer, where they also handled system administration, security, and development. Alen then moved on to ProCredit Bank, where they served as a Servers Unit Supervisor from 2005 to 2011. At Hypo Group Alpe Adria - Zajednicki Informacioni Sistem Doo, they worked as an IT Infrastructure Architect, managing IT infrastructure projects and ensuring compliance with architectural standards. Alen joined Take the Interview, Inc. in 2014 as the Head of DevOps, responsible for overseeing development and operations tasks. Alen later worked as the Director of DevOps at ConveyIQ from 2017 to 2019. Most recently, they held leadership positions at Entelo, including Director of Infrastructure from 2019 to 2022, and Director of Engineering from 2022 to 2023. Currently, they are serving as the Director of Engineering at Rival.

Alen Komic attended Singidunum University from 2006 to 2010, where they studied Informatics and Computing. Prior to that, they attended Sveta Djordjevic School from 1994 to 1996. In addition to their education, they also obtained the Zabbix Certified Specialist certification from Zabbix SIA in 2010.
