Dave Hill

Dave Hill has extensive work experience in systems engineering and operations roles. Dave'smost recent position was as a Sr. Systems Engineer at Rival Systems, where they were responsible for creating AWS infrastructure using Terraform, managing large CentOS stacks, and integrating tools through their APIs. Dave also utilized Bash scripting, VMWare ESX for virtualization, and Veeam for virtual machine backups. Additionally, they implemented various systems management and automation tools such as Ansible and Jenkins. Prior to Rival Systems, Dave worked as an Operations Engineer at Chicago Trading Company and held multiple roles at Geneva Trading, including DevOps/System Administration and Windows/Linux Systems Administration. Dave Hill completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Media and Communication Technology from Michigan State University, from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended Stoney Creek from 2005 to 2009, however, no specific degree or field of study was mentioned.
