Pga Shannon McKew

Shannon McKew has a diverse work experience in the golf industry. Shannon most recently held the position of Head Golf Professional at River Bend Golf and Country Club, starting in January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Assistant Golf Professional at TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm from March 2019 to December 2022. Shannon also worked as a PXG Evangelist at PXG (PARSONS XTREME GOLF) from December 2017 to March 2019. Additionally, they interned in Tournament Services at PGA TOUR from July 2017 to November 2017. Before that, they worked as a Golf Services Associate at Baltimore Country Club from May 2013 to July 2017. Shannon was also selected as a participant for the NCAA Career in Sports Forum in June 2017, where they received a postgraduate scholarship and attended a conference focused on networking and professional development.

Shannon McKew obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science from Florida Southern College, where they studied until 2017. In addition to their formal education, Shannon has also achieved several certifications. Shannon became a PGA Member of the PGA of America in May 2022. In May 2017, they obtained a certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Furthermore, Shannon obtained a First Aid/CPR/AED certification from the American Red Cross in May 2017.
