Rebecca Harris Chief Strategy Officer

Rebecca Harris is currently the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at River Bend Food Bank since January 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Service Insights and Client Empowerment at the same organization, overseeing various departmental components to ensure equitable food access and connecting clients to resources. Before joining River Bend Food Bank, Rebecca worked as the President and National Trainer at Insight Publications, Inc. from December 2009 to December 2022, providing training and coaching services for education, mental health, corporate, and community agencies. Rebecca Harris also has experience as a Technical Assistance Specialist at ISTAC-Illinois State Board of Education from October 2013 to March 2015 and as a Technical Assistance Coordinator at IL PBIS Network - Illinois State Board of Education from October 2005 to October 2013.

Rebecca Harris, Chief Strategy Officer, holds a Master of Science in Education in Counseling from Northern Illinois University, which they obtained from 1993 to 1995. Additionally, they completed post-graduate coursework in BCBA at the University of Cincinnati from 2012 to 2013. Prior to their master's degree, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Human and Family Resources from Northern Illinois University, graduating from 1988 to 1993.
