Jasmine Howard

Jasmine Howard is a dedicated education professional with extensive experience in teaching and family advocacy. Currently serving as a Family Advocate at Riverbend Head Start & Family Services since June 2023, Jasmine previously worked as a Spanish Teacher at Hazelwood School District, where lessons targeted diverse learning abilities of 6th to 8th-grade students. Jasmine's earlier roles include a Teacher Assistant at St. Louis Public Schools, developing and assessing literacy and math lessons for pre-k students, and a Teacher's Assistant at Sunshine Ministries, engaging young children through thematic lessons. Additionally, Jasmine has experience at the Saint Louis Science Center, teaching hands-on activities focusing on science and environmental education. Jasmine holds a Master's degree in Education from Lindenwood University and a Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural Studies from Evangel University.

Since 1916, Riverbend Head Start & Family Services has been focused on improving the lives of mothers and children in our community. Today, we accomplish our mission through our Head Start and Early Head Start programming. For the young child we offer early childhood education, as well as health and nutrition services. For families and individuals we offer parenting education, social services, family literacy and various individual strengthening and family support services. All services are provided at NO COST TO THE FAMILY.
