Timothy M. Wong

Timothy Wong serves as River City Medical Group’s Executive Vice President and General Counsel. As Executive Vice President, he provides strategic leadership, direction, and oversight of RCMG’s Executive Team and throughout the company’s business and operations. As General Counsel, he directs all legal matters for RCMG.

Mr. Wong brings a wealth of professional experience to RCMG, including the expertise of an attorney at law and the leadership of a seasoned corporate executive. Mr. Wong was a Partner and attorney at an AV Preeminent Rated law firm in San Francisco for over a decade. He has also held managerial, officer, and executive leadership positions at global financial institutions and a medical corporation where he was Senior Vice President of Business Strategy and General Counsel.

Mr. Wong received a Bachelor’s Degree from University of California at Berkeley, a Juris Doctor Degree from University of San Francisco School of Law, Professional Certificates from Harvard Business School and Harvard Law School, and a Healthcare Certificate from Cornell University. Mr. Wong received academic distinctions as a Recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award, Law Review Editor, and published author in legal and medical journals.

Mr. Wong is a fourth generation Californian and comes from a family of dedicated physicians, including his father, brothers, and numerous extended family members.

Mr. Wong’s professional affiliations include membership in the California Society for Healthcare Attorneys, the American Health Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association (Health Law Section), and the State Bar of California.
