Hugh Sergeant

Hugh Sergeant serves as the Head of Value and Recovery at River Global Investors, a role held since August 2006 and a position that came as a result of being one of the original Partners of the firm. Prior to this, Hugh was the Head of UK Equities at SG Asset Management from September 2002 to May 2006, where responsibilities included managing the SG UK Growth Fund. Hugh also held the position of Head of UK Equities at UBS Global Asset Management from September 1990 to April 2002. Educational qualifications include a BSc (Econ) in Economic and Business History from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), completed between 1984 and 1987, along with earlier education at Leighton Park School in the UK.
