Mayan Uthayakumar

Mayan Uthayakumar is an experienced portfolio manager and analyst at River Global Investors since November 2015, specializing in UK equity with a focus on small and mid-cap companies. Previous roles include serving as a senior associate at Sanford C. Bernstein, where Mayan analyzed European utilities equity, and as an associate at Goldman Sachs, focusing on European small and mid-cap equity analysis. Mayan began the professional journey as an analyst in M&A at Jefferies International. Academic qualifications include a BA in Politics, Philosophy & Economics from the University of Oxford and an MSc in Finance with Distinction from the University of St Andrews.
