Tara Watkins has an extensive work experience, starting as the Owner of Dollar-Sense from June 2002 until March 2010. Tara then joined Veterans Green Jobs as the Senior Director of Administration and Finance from March 2010 to May 2011, before becoming the Chief Financial Officer from June 2011 to May 2013. Tara then moved on to Saint John's Cathedral, where they served as the Director of Finance and Administration from May 2013 to April 2016. Following this, they worked at River Network as the Finance Director from April 2016 onwards. Tara'smost recent position is with The Nature Conservancy as the Director of Finance and Operations, starting in October 2017.
Tara Watkins completed their Bachelor's Degree in Development Studies at Brown University from 1985 to 1989. Tara later pursued their Master's Degree in Leadership and Organizations with a focus on Strategic Change and Innovation at the University of Denver from 2014 to 2016.
