River Trails Park District
Jeremy Hakala is an experienced grounds management professional with a career spanning over a decade in various roles related to park and landscape maintenance. Currently serving as the Grounds Manager at River Trails Park District since January 2022, Jeremy has previously held positions such as Forestry and Parks with the Village of Lincolnshire, Parks Maintenance Construction at Palatine Park District, and Landscape Management with the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County. The River Trails Park District is a public park and recreation agency that serves the communities of Mount Prospect and Prospect Heights. River Trails Park District is an Illinois Distinguished Accredited Agency. The district has nine parks, Weiss Community Center, Burning Bush Community Center, 401 Administrative Building, Woodland Trails Pool & Aquatic Facility, Rob Roy Golf Course and 10th Hole Bar & Grill and Woodland Trails Driving Range & Miniature Golf. The Park District is responsible for the maintenance, operation and administration of parks and parks facilities under its jurisdiction.
