Carie Cohen

Carie Cohen, Ed.D., currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent of Student Services at River Trails School District 26 since July 2022. Prior to this role, Carie was the Director of Student Services at Lake Zurich CUSD 95 School District from July 2020 to July 2022 and held the position of University Supervisor at National Louis University from January 2010 to July 2022, where supervision and feedback were provided to preservice teachers. Additionally, Carie worked as an Educational Therapist at Kroft Educational Therapy for over 16 years, advocating for families and assessing clients. Previous experience includes serving as Coordinator of Special Services at Hawthorn School District 73 and a Cross Categorical Resource Teacher at Deerfield School District 109. Carie's early career included roles as a Special Education Teacher in multiple districts. Educational qualifications include an Educational Doctorate in Disability Studies and an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership, both from National Louis University.
