Jacintha Thannimalai

Jacintha Thannimalai has extensive legal experience, currently serving as the DPO and Head of Legal APJ at Riverbed Technology since October 2011, where responsibilities include leading commercial transactions, strategic alliances, and compliance across the APJ region. Prior to this, Jacintha held the position of Legal Counsel for Asia Pacific and the Middle East at TATA Communications Ltd. from October 2010 to September 2011. Jacintha also worked as Legal Counsel for Asia at Diageo from May 2007 to December 2009, engaging in various legal aspects related to acquisitions, joint ventures, and compliance. Earlier experiences include roles as a Legal Associate at Kelvin Chia Partnership and as an Associate at White & Case, focusing on commercial litigation. Jacintha began a career in law after obtaining an LLB (Hons) from the National University of Singapore, following education at Raffles Junior College.
