Richard Tworek

Richard Tworek is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in product management, engineering, and technology transformation. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Riverbed Technology, Richard leads teams focused on enhancing the Alluvio unified observability products. Previous roles include Senior Vice President of Engineering and Technology Transformation at Riverbed, CTO and VP of Mitel Innovation Labs, and CEO of Qovia, where Richard guided the company to a successful acquisition by Cisco. Richard has also held senior positions at Nortel Networks, ZebraPass, Merant, Infodata, and Merex, developing strategic technology initiatives and innovative products throughout their career. With a strong educational background in Nuclear Engineering and Mathematics, Richard is a recipient of over 20 industry awards and holds multiple telecommunications technology patents.
