Thomas Kerkaert (Tom)

Thomas (Tom) Kerkaert, CPA has over 17 years of experience in finance and accounting. Thomas (Tom) is currently serving as CFO at Riverbend Sandler Pools since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Financial Officer at Legacy Housing Corporation from August 2020 to March 2022. From 2018 to 2020, Tom worked at Sandvik, first as the VP of Finance for the Inrock business unit and then as the Director of Finance for the Varel business unit. Thomas (Tom) significantly improved processes and played a key role in managing assets, evaluating new markets, and implementing strategic changes. Before that, Tom served as the Director of Finance at EverActive Brands, leading an ERP implementation and managing financial reporting and analysis. Thomas (Tom) also worked as an Assistant Controller at Milestone AV Technologies, contributing to the integration of an acquired manufacturer. Tom began their career as a Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young, where they specialized in complex audit projects for multinational corporations.

Thomas (Tom) Kerkaert, CPA holds a Master of Accounting degree from the University of Arizona, which they obtained in the year 2005. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Arizona - Eller College of Management, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with a focus on Accounting, graduating in the year 2004. In addition to their educational background, Tom has also obtained certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the State of Arizona in February 2007.
