Aymet Olivares began their work experience in 2005 as a Pharmacy Technician at RITE AID. In 2010, they joined ANDRUS as a Recreation Specialist and later became a Sr. Milieu Therapist. Their responsibilities included managing budgets, scheduling staff, and training new hires. At ANDRUS, Olivares also worked as a Quality Assurance Specialist, where they performed administrative tasks related to monitoring and archiving clinical records. They joined Riverdale Neighborhood House in 2015 as a Program Director, overseeing various program components and supervising contracts and employees. Olivares also worked as a Lifeguard and Milieu Therapist/QuAC consultant at ANDRUS during this time.
Aymet Olivares attended The City College of New York from 2005 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. In addition to their academic achievements, they have obtained several certifications including American Red Cross CPR and First Aid in March 2015, Intro to Microsoft Access 2010 from Pace University in January 2015, and a Life Guard certification from the American Red Cross in September 2014.
