Josye Utick is a project designer and associate at JCJ Architecture. Josye has been with the company since April 2015 and has worked on a variety of projects, including the redevelopment of a historic landmark in the South (Ponce City Market) and the concept, schematic, and design development of an innovative retail hall.
Prior to joining JCJ Architecture, Utick was a project architect at ASD Inc., where they were responsible for key project visualization, drafting, documenting, project administration, and client/consultant coordination for a number of upper-level redevelopment projects, including the Ponce City Market redevelopment. Josye also worked on the concept, schematic, and design development of an innovative retail hall and coordinated the Revit team for the Navy Federal Credit Union office building project.
Utick is currently the Vice Chair at Riverfront Recapture. In this role, they are responsible for leading the organization's efforts to create and enhance public access to the Connecticut River through parks, trails, and other recreational facilities.
Josye Utick has a Master in Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design, a Bachelor of Arts in French & Studio Art from Wellesley College, and a Junior Year Abroad in French & Art from the Université Paris-Sorbonne. Josye also has a Summer Language Immersion Program in Business & Technology Program (French) from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and Continuing Education in Mandarin Chinese from Emory University. Josye is certified by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in Architectural License and by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) in NCARB Certificate.
