Jay Massirman

Jay Massirman is the CEO & Founder of Rivergate Companies, a multifaceted real estate investment firm actively engaged in multifamily investment, self storage development and property management. Jay is also a co-founder of and serves as a managing director for EDEN Multifamily and is a founder and managing director of RKW Residential. An experienced real estate professional, Jay has been in the industry for almost 30 years.

Prior to forming Rivergate|Massirman Group in 2007, Jay spent 20 years with CBRE, a global real estate service provider. As a Vice Chairman he was a perennial top producer and actively involved in the sale and financing of more than 400 transactions including over 76,000 multifamily units with an aggregate value in excess of $10 billion.

Jay received his BBA from University of Miami in Finance and Accounting. He is an active member of the Board of Directors of the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, a member of the Board of the University of Miami School of Architecture Masters in Real Estate and Development program, a member of the University of Miami Citizens Board and former Trustee of the Cushing Academy in Ashburnham, Massachusetts. He is also a member of ULI and the NMHC Board of Directors. He lives in Miami where it is rumored that no matter how hard he tries his golf handicap is permanently fixed at a 10.
