Colten Symmes

Colten Symmes currently serves as the Director of Evangelization and Theology Teacher at Jesuit High School of New Orleans, a role held since August 2024. Additionally, Symmes has been an Insurance Agent at Riverlands Insurance Services, Inc. since June 2022. Previous experience includes serving as a Theology Teacher, Athletic Director, and Basketball Coach at St. Catherine of Siena School from June 2021 to May 2022, and as the Assistant Director of Vocations for the Catholic Diocese of Biloxi from May 2018 to September 2020. Symmes has also held positions as Associate Pastor at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary from January 2020 to January 2020 and July 2017 to January 2020, respectively, and completed an internship as a Deacon at Our Lady of Victories in 2016. Symmes holds a Master's of Divinity from Notre Dame Seminary Graduate School of Theology, a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Saint Joseph Seminary College, and an Associate of Arts from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.
