Riverlane
Joan Camps is a Staff Quantum Scientist at Riverlane since September 2019, with previous roles as Senior Quantum Scientist and Research Software Developer. Prior to Riverlane, Joan held a Research Associate position at UCL from October 2016 to August 2019, contributing to the 'It from Qubit' Simons Collaboration on gravity and quantum information. Earlier experience includes Research Associate positions at the University of Cambridge and Durham University, focusing on gravitational aspects of holography and string theory, respectively. Joan began a career in research as a Research Assistant at Universitat de Barcelona, where a PhD in Theoretical Physics was obtained from 2006 to 2010.
