Karen Starr

Karen Starr is an experienced archivist and librarian currently serving at The Rivers School since September 2018, while also holding the position of Interim Upper School Librarian at The Winsor School since July 2017. With a long-standing commitment to the Pan-Massachusetts Challenge, Karen has been the Head of Rider Registration since 2001. Previously, the role of Library Director at Thayer Academy spanned from 2001 to August 2017, during which Karen also served as Director of Thayer Libraries. Academic qualifications include a B.A. in English from Tufts University, multiple degrees from Simmons University in Library and Information Science, and various master's degrees from Boston College in Education and Educational/Instructional Media Design.
