The Riverside Church
Marissa DeVeau is a skilled communications and media professional with a diverse background in the arts and education. Currently serving as the Communications & Social Media Specialist at The Riverside Church since February 2023, Marissa also holds the position of Media Manager & Event Coordinator. With experience as a Teaching Artist at Algonquin Arts Theatre since January 2020 and previous roles including Bookseller at Barnes & Noble, Inc., Production Coordinator for Artist Collective Troupe, and Music Coordinator & Assistant Music Director at Broadway Podcast Network, Marissa has demonstrated expertise in both creative and organizational capacities. Additionally, Marissa has contributed as a Music Director & Teaching Artist at 92nd Street Y and as a Lead Teaching Artist for Society for the Prevention of Teen Suicide. Marissa holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Rider University, Westminster Choir College.

Riverside Church is a nonprofit organization that is affiliated with both the United Church of Christ and the American Baptist Churches and cooperates with the Council of Churches. Its members are united in the worship of God known in Jesus, the Christ, through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
