Kelly Barton

Kelly Barton is an experienced educator and practitioner in the beauty sector, currently serving as the Programme Area Leader for Beauty and Nails at Riverside College Widnes & Runcorn since September 2021. In this role, Kelly supports the Head of School in leading the Beauty & Nails provision, focusing on delivering and coordinating curriculum programs while mentoring teaching staff. Prior experience includes roles as a lecturer at Riverside College, where responsibilities encompassed coordinating and evaluating NVQ Beauty Therapy and Nail Technology qualifications, and as a Beauty/Nail Coordinator and lecturer at MIBA Manchester International Beauty Academy. Kelly’s teaching background spans various educational settings, including Bury College, where coordination of Level 2 and 3 NVQ and VTCT Nail Qualifications occurred, and as a successful freelance mobile beauty therapist from 2003 to 2014. Kelly also worked as a Senior Therapist at The Spa by Regis, delivering high-quality beauty treatments. Educational qualifications include a Professional Diploma in Education earned at The University of Bolton from 2007 to 2009.
