Joseph Mathews

Joseph Mathews has a diverse professional background with extensive experience in workforce development, education, and program management. Currently serving as the Youth Commission Coordinator at Riverside County Workforce Development, Joseph oversees legislative interns and their Youth Advisory Councils. Previously, as a Development Specialist III with the County of Riverside since April 2021, Joseph contributed to various community programs. Joseph also held roles as Executive Producer for Hard Knocks Wrestling, managing monthly tapings and production logistics, and as Family Advocate Supervisor at Morongo Tribal TANF, overseeing cultural and educational programs. Earlier positions include Regional Education Partnership Representative at UEI College, Case Manager, and Family Advocate at Morongo Tribal TANF, Head Baseball Coach at Johnson University, and Total Loss Appraiser at Mercury Insurance. Joseph served as an Operational Specialist in the US Navy and holds an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University and a Bachelor's degree in Counseling Psychology from Johnson University.
