Katy Gates

Katy Gates has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Katy began their career as an Intern at Five by Fifty in 2009, where they conducted market research on popular products in the Japanese market and wrote articles about Japanese products and trends. In 2010, they interned at One Day on Earth, overseeing licensing and procurement of new products and assessing the quality of submitted videos.

In 2012, Katy joined Crystal Cruises as a Reservations Sales Agent and later took on roles such as Group Coordinator, Dispatcher for Crystal Serenity, and Assistant to the Vice President, Marketing. During their time at Crystal Cruises, they co-managed the International Reservations Support and Reservations Support inboxes, applied and calculated various promotions, audited future cruise credit and commission amounts, proofread marketing materials, programmed mass marketing emails, and ran reports for tracking marketing initiatives.

In 2022, Katy worked as an Account Coordinator at Aya Healthcare, where they assumed responsibilities in coordinating accounts. Currently, they hold the position of Reservations Manager at Riverside Luxury Cruises, where they manage reservations.

Katy Gates obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Temple University Japan in the year 2010, and was enrolled at the institution from 2009 to 2010. Prior to that, they attended Bard College from 2004 to 2007, where they studied Literature. No specific degree was mentioned for their time at Bard College.
