Betty White-Zappa is currently the Director of Nursing at Riverside Foundation. Betty has over 30 years of experience in the nursing field, holding various positions at different hospitals and organizations. Betty started their career as an administrator at Sinai Health System in 1974 and then became the Vice President of Nursing at Catholic Health Partners/Resurrection Health Care in 1983. In 1988, they became the Clinical Liasion Management Consulting Division Director of Nursing at Universal Health Services-Hartgrove Hospital and held that position for 13 years. Betty then took on a new role as Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Elmhurst College from 1996 to 2001 before becoming the Vice President of Patient Care Services at Erie Family Health Center from 2001 to 2004. Betty has been with Riverside Foundation since 2004 and is currently the Director of Nursing.
Betty White-Zappa received their PhD and MBA from Benedictine University in the field of Organization Development. Betty also holds a Master of Science from DePaul University in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science from Northern Illinois University in Psychology and Nursing.
