Brian Long has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2006, they started their career as a Machine Operator at ATI - Allegheny Technologies Incorporated and worked until 2007. From 2011 to 2013, they served as a Licensed Insurance Agent at Farm Bureau Insurance of South Carolina. Brian then worked as a Licensed Insurance Agent at Nationwide from February 2013 to December 2013. In 2014, they transitioned into the security field and became an Armed Nuclear Security Officer at Securitas Critical Infrastructure Services, Inc., staying with the company until April 2020. Starting in June 2020, Brian worked as a Delivery Driver at FedEx Ground until January 2022. Since October 2022, they have been employed as a Senior Account Executive at Riverside Payments. Additionally, from February 2018 to October 2019, they worked as a Lead Valve Technician at "\"Apollo\"\u200b Flow Controls, Manufactured by Conbraco Industries".
Brian Long attended Coastal Carolina University from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) with a focus on Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication. During the same period, they also earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Public Health Education and Promotion from Coastal Carolina University.
In addition to their academic achievements, Brian has obtained several certifications. In June 2011, they became an Insurance Agent for Accident, Health, Life, Variable Life & Variable Annuities, and also acquired the certification for Property & Casualty Insurance Agent from the SC Department of Insurance. Furthermore, Brian holds certifications as Firefighter 1 and Firefighter II from the South Carolina Fire Academy, obtained in October 2006. More recently, in June 2020, they obtained a SLED Weapons Permit from the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED).
