James Covelli

James Covelli currently serves as the Director of Radiology at Keesler Medical Center, where responsibilities include managing diagnostic imaging and radiation oncology services while leading a team of 77 professionals. With a specialization in Breast Imaging as a Staff Radiologist, James Covelli has also held positions at Medicus Healthcare Solutions and Riverside Radiology & Interventional Associates. A graduate of Stanford University School of Medicine with a Post Doctoral Fellowship in Radiology, Covelli's background includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from Uniformed Services University and a degree in Music Performance from The University of Southern Mississippi. Prior military service in the United States Air Force includes various roles in aviation and as a clarinetist with the United States Air Force Band.
